New Year
A lovely, spacious home, beautifully decorated throughout, cosy sofas, cosy beds and lovely and warm too!
Every morning we have enjoyed our early brisk walk along the front to Verdi's cafe and restaurant and back, picking up fresh bread, welshcakes and pastries on the way back from Davies bakery on the corner. A perfect start to each day.
The house has been a great base to explore from - apart from the lovely Mumbles itself we have been to Caswell, Oxwich, Rhosilli with fantastic scenic walk along to Worms Head and Port Eynon.
Shepherds at parkmill is an ideal place to park also, then take the path across the road through the wood and out onto the breathtaking Three Cliffs Bay. A fabulous walk for everyone. Thanks for everything. The Ratcliff Family
Christmas
We had just the most wonderful Christmas here - snowy when we arrived , but fine days - meaning we could do the perfect mix of exploring the Gower and lounging around this lovely cottage.
The children particularly think that the Father Christmas around these parts is very generous and had no problem getting his sledge up the icy streets! What a star! Everything great - many thanks Judith, Oliver, Joe and Rudy

Dear Roz and Allan, Thank you! We really enjoyed staying here - thanks for the warm welcome. You were always helpful and quick to respond to any queries and the house is great. The snow meant we couldnt do all that we'd hoped to but we did walk from here to Caswell and back. Happy Christmas & New Year. The Orugha Family

Your house is just wonderful!
As our children remarked, it is like the Weasly teut in one of the Harry Potter books: looking at it from the street it looks small...as you go in it grows larger and larger
We all enjoyed our stay very much and your house added a lot to it
Thanks again, Auf Wiedersehn! "The Germans" Gregor, Lukas, Hanna & Canueu x x

Thank you for providing fantastic accomodation in a perfect location for exploring the Mumbles and Gower
Strongly recommend Caswell Bay at low tide - beautiful rock pools, clean beach and soft white sand.
Rhossili bay has a stunning view an absolute must do
Port Eynon very simple but lovely and tranquil at sunset
Thanks again, Carly, David, Albert, Helen, Chris and Elsie

A beautiful house in a brilliant location - close to all the shops and within a short drive of lovely beaches (Llangennith beach a bit further afield but amazing surf / sandy beach)
Would also recommend Parc-le-Breos pony trekking - gorgeous rides with horses suitable for all abilities weights and heights!
We have stayed in a number of holiday homes over the years and this is by far the best equiped! Thanks for a wonderful holiday

We have stayed in Mumbles many times - but this house has been the best! Very spacious and perfect location. Perfect for the front and Newton Road shopping.
Sunday lunch at the "Village Inn" on the main road (turn right at the bottom of the hill) never disappoints! Always book. The Leisure Centre is great for children when its wet - Oxwich Bay fab when its dry.
Will definitely come again and recommend to friends. The Desmond and Watson families

We have really enjoyed our stay in your house and were very impressed with its layout , facilities and location. It is a perfect base to explore the Gower Peninsula
We would definitely recommend "Salt" for a relaxed bar meal with fantastic sea/bay views. The fish dishes were fantastic!
Caswell is best for rock pooling, Oxwich great for Kayaking and exploring dunes, and Llangenith end of Rhossili Bay for fab waves for surfing and body boarding
Will definitely recommend your lovely place to friends back home. The Burton family

Great house. Lovely and spacious and well equipped. Fabuolus position in the village - close to shops.
Folly Farm is fantastic for children. A bit of a drive but well worth it.
Try hiring bikes for the day from Action Bikes in Swansea - £15 per day - phone 01792 464640. if you have a dog - Oxwich Bay is brilliant
We recommend Verdi's Italian Restaurant for meals and ice creams, especially on a warm day sitting outside.
Fantastic stay all round. On a rainy day, the Leisure Centre pool (LC2) in Swansea is great for children.
Thanks The Williams family

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your lovely cottage. Mumbles is a real gem. Would heartily recommend Patricks and Castellamere . Bracelet Bay and Rhossili are great. Avoid Swansea City Centre, take the time to visit Cardiff instead.
The cottage is very homely and relaxing, especially in the rain. a great base to explore the Gower Peninsula. Love The Reilly Family

Really enjoyed our stay at Gower Place, location good for lovely food & gift shops. Great walks to local beaches and perfect for cycling along the Gower to beaches further away (Those hills keep you fit!)
As the weather was hot we used the BBQ a few times and really enjoyed sitting outside in the garden.
Good facilities in the kitchen and ideal for a young family
The fish shop on main street had lovely produce, and the deli (Olives & Oil) also is worth a visit for cheese and general good food.
Thanks again, Mark, Em, baby George, Helen, Clare, Kathy & Frank

Fab House - everything we needed and more. We are in the Mumbles around 4 times a year - this is the best we've been in. Thank you for letting us share it with you. Liz x

We enjoyed being your first visitors and appreciated the closeness to the shops as well as the beach. A short circular walk including newsagent, chemist, food shops, PO, and the ice-cream parlour is very useful!
Our 3 year old enjoyed the animals and things to look at at the Gower Heritage Centre, Park Mill, and there is plenty for older children as well.
If wet the leisure centre in Swansea has an excellent soft play area, is next to the museum. We hope you have a great summer! The Williams!
